How to Get a Perfect Smile in 2 Weeks

What would be needed to have a straight, white, perfect smile? You can get one in about 2 weeks with an incredible new product. Snap-on-Smile® is totally non-invasive, and that means no drilling!

This entails coming into the office, choosing a shade and a look, taking a couple of impressions, and photographing your mouth and teeth. In 2 weeks, you come back to the office and voilà—a new you!
It is made out of a material that is strong and doesn't stain easily. It is non-toxic resin (similar to an acrylic) and can be as little as half a millimeter thick. It is available in various shades and color. It can fill in spaces and appear to straighten teeth, and can be used for the upper and lower arches. You can even chew with it. However, it must be handled properly or it can break.
It is not a denture—this is more like putting on an overcoat. Porcelain veneers or new caps are permanently cemented in place, and Snap-on-Smile® can serve as a preview of how your teeth may appear if taking this more-permanent step. Also, it can serve as temporary measure to fill a space that is being restored with an implant.
The downside is it may cost anywhere from $1,000 to $3,000, depending on what is being done, the individual office’s fees, and the dentist’s expertise. Another possible problem is that some people may need time to adjust to the feel of the additional thickness of the appliance on top of existing teeth.
In order to use the Snap-on-Smile® appliance, the underlying teeth must be healthy and caries free. An antibacterial gel is used inside the appliance to help keep it that way.
It is truly an interesting concept, but if you want whiter teeth many over-the-counter remedies and in-office whitening procedures are available. Some in-office products show vast changes in about an hour. If you want straighter teeth, Invisalign® or Clear Correct® invisible braces can achieve the desired result. It costs a little bit more, but is a permanent result and can be achieved in 6 months to a year.
Snap-on-Smile® is really intended to give you a “test drive” to see how a "dental makeover" would look on you, before spending a true fortune on veneers and crowns and determining that it wasn’t worth the effort.
However, it requires no shots, no drilling, and no adhesives. It just snaps in place right over your natural teeth. This technology can change your smile easily, quickly, and painlessly. Visit your dentist to see if Snap-on-Smile® is right for you.
